Objective:
To recognize the most innovative comprehensive project in the professional cleaning sector, representing a significant advancement in efficiency, sustainability, social impact, and technical applicability.
In 2026, the CALA Awards, within the framework of the CleanTec Show Americas Congress, will recognize innovation as a driver of transformation in professional cleaning, valuing solutions that improve processes, products, and services to achieve more efficient and sustainable results.

2026 Guidelines
Open call for all of Latin America.
Innovation is defined as:
Creation or significant improvement of cleaning products, services, or processes.
Application of existing technologies or knowledge in a novel way.
Incorporation of improvements that generate operational efficiency, cost reduction, and a positive environmental impact.
Application Categories
Machinery: Laundry, mechanization, and automation of cleaning processes.
Services: Consulting, cleaning services, personal protective equipment solutions.
Chemicals: Chemical products, cellulose, pest control, eco-friendly supplies, and accessories.
Requirements
The project or product must be operational in Latin America.
One application per entity or company.
The information submitted may be used by the organization for promotional and dissemination purposes.
Submit:
Clear criteria for efficiency, sustainability, and cost reduction.
Customer-specific value proposition.
Evidence of impact (testimonials, metrics, and verifiable results).
Current certifications (optional).
How to apply
Complete the application form at www.cleantec.show with all the requested information and a detailed description of the product or project. Form: HERE
Record a video of no more than 3 minutes on YouTube, explaining and demonstrating the product/project.
Send 3 to 4 high-resolution photos to [email protected].
Include the following in the description:
Years of product/project development.
Answer to the question: Does it reduce environmental impact, increase the value of your services, and significantly decrease your costs?
Main impact: energy efficiency, reduced consumption, waste management, reduction of plastics or emissions.
Evaluation criteria
Project date.
Sales (value and/or units) or service adoption.
Level of innovation and contribution to environmental sustainability.
Quality certifications (if applicable).
Degree of novelty: product/service created or significantly improved.

Implementation of the Scrubber 50 Robot
Project Implementation Date: June 2025
City: Bogotá
Installation Location: Centro Mayor Shopping Mall Brands Involved in the Project: Tecnovap Latinoamérica (implementer), Casalimpia (shopping mall cleaning company), and Gausium (robot manufacturer).
Implementation of the Scrubber 50 Robot in a shopping mall for cleaning food courts and high-traffic areas. The unit integrates mopping, scrubbing, and drying of floors in a single step, operating autonomously with more than 20 safety sensors, cameras, and remote cloud management. The key innovation lies in the complete automation of the cleaning process, replacing the need for multiple machines and operators with a single unit controlled by one person..
