Latin America. A frequent failure in the hiring of cleaning services, or in the internal assignment of these tasks, is not establishing workloads for staff, an issue that must be resolved from the administrative levels and from prior planning.

In that order of ideas Oscar Corona Macías, general director at Limpio Express Gdl, was critical and established as a mistake when companies do not consider the workload for cleaning staff, where he stressed that it usually happens that the property is not measured or analyzed prior to work, so there is no dimension of the need for cleaning.

"This means that no matter how many cleaning companies are hired, or changed, they will all fail to resolve any cleaning incident, and there would be no real continuity of activities; since they will never be able to do everything due to lack of personnel."

Likewise, the general director explained that another frequent one is when the cleaning workload is greater than the real need, that is, when it exceeds the square meters, the number of bathrooms of pieces or sanitary furniture that are in the place, as well as the type of finishes with which the property has.

"The only thing that will happen is that the customer pays more for a service they do not need, since the number of people is not adequate for the infrastructure and they would only be spending money for nothing."

The solution: plan, systematization and improvement
That's why Oscar recommends using software to help build a cleaning plan, how much you should work, measure results and contribute in the organization to continuously improve. "The first thing that determines this system is the inventory of the scope of cleaning, the specific tasks that will be performed, assignment of the frequency of work, the calculation of times and movements, and the total cost of monthly or annual cleaning."
