Colombia. The manufacturer of home technology Dyson, announced its arrival in the Colombian market with its entire range of its products of wireless vacuum cleaners of high performance and for the hair. This latest investment highlights the company's commitment to bringing its revolutionary technology to more consumers in Latin America.

"As a beauty-savvy and tech-loving country, we see great enthusiasm for Dyson's technology in Colombia, and that is why we are very excited to bring our highest performing innovations here for the first time," said Tom Moody, Chief Commercial Officer at Dyson.

"Dyson engineers are revolutionizing products and solving real problems with new technology. We have seen the appetite for innovation in Latin America, particularly when it comes to beauty and maintaining healthy hair."

Colombia's obsession with beauty has driven demand for Dyson's beauty technology. There is also a huge need for innovative vacuum cleaners as Colombians look for quick and efficient ways to deep clean their homes. Dyson products are now available to Colombian consumers through an exclusive, limited-edition partnership with Mercado Libre, the largest online retailer in Latin America. Created in 1993, Dyson was founded in England by Sir James Dyson, pioneer of the world's first bagless vacuum cleaner, which changed the way homes are cleaned. Since inventing the first bagless cyclonic vacuum, Dyson has created technological solutions for hair care, air purification, robotics, lighting and hand drying.

Dyson invests £2.75 billion in research and development, devising revolutionary products and technologies that solve everyday problems. A £500 million investment was announced in 2022 to expand and accelerate the research and development of the beauty portfolio, with plans to launch twenty new beauty products over the next four years. Dyson remains a family-owned company and employs more than 14,000 people globally, including 6,000 engineers and scientists. It sells its products in 85 international markets.

Dyson's new products are on sale at Mercado Libre. This year's plan includes opening at least two outlets in Bogotá and Medellín. More Dyson retailers and direct outlets are planned to open in the near future.
