International. ISSA confirmed that its traditional activity called International Cleanup Week will be held from March 24 to 30, 2024. This is a global celebration to honor frontline cleaning professionals and industry advocates.
For four consecutive years, ISSA has hosted National Cleanup Week at the end of March. Building on the tremendous success of the event in the United States, this year ISSA is expanding the scope of this week-long public recognition of the industry's positive impact on the economy, as well as the value of cleanliness as it relates to improving public health.
"ISSA is thrilled to build on the success of National Cleanup Week by hosting the first International Cleanup Week," said ISSA Executive Director John Barrett. "This expanded scope reflects the value of cleaning and the importance of cleaning to health around the world, as well as ISSA's international reach."
International Cleanup Week represents a unique opportunity to celebrate the Value of Clean®, raise public awareness and honor your peers. Companies and organizations that support the cleaning industry can partner with ISSA to further spread public awareness.
International Cleanup Week offers activities such as:
Marketing: Use this week to increase your company's sales. Run special promotions to generate interest in your service or product while also helping to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and the industry.
Education: During International Cleanup Week, ISSA will offer discounts on memberships and educational resources, as well as exclusive learning opportunities.
Philanthropy – Cleaning for a Reason is an ISSA Charities™ signature program that provides clean homes to cancer patients. International Cleanup Week is the perfect time for people to donate and organizations to become corporate partners.
"The ISSA would like to especially recognize and thank Tork, an Essity brand, for being a supporting sponsor of International Cleanup Week, an exclusive sponsor of our Leveraging International Cleanup Week 2024 webinar, and a presenting sponsor of the ISSA Cleanup Advocacy Summit 2024 in Washington. D.C.," said ISSA Director of Government Affairs John Nothdurft.
