Colombia. In Bogotá there are 30 underground containers, all of which are operating, distributed in the towns of Suba, San Cristóbal, Chapinero and Usaquén. Compared to traditional containers, underground containers have a greater capacity, going from 3,200 to 6,400 liters.

Additionally, given its technology, it helps the good use of public space by occupying less area than a traditional container and using operating tools that will facilitate not only the disposal of waste by users, but also a more agile and automated collection process.

Only non-usable waste can be disposed of inside these containers, that is, those that go inside the black bag and are not delivered to the recyclers by trade.

The Special Administrative Unit of Public Services (UAESP) calls on citizens to respect and take care of this new toilet furniture as part of the city's infrastructure, taking into account that they are material goods for the improvement of the quality of life of all citizens.
