Nilfisk advances its position in the sustainability ranking

International. From 2023 to 2024, Nilfisk improved its score on EcoVadis from 71 to 80 points, moving from the 95th to the 98th percentile of all companies reporting to EcoVadis. EcoVadis is considered the world's most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, and therefore a gold rating is an important testament to Nilfisk's dedicated efforts.
"Working with sustainability frameworks like EcoVadis drives continuous improvement, and we aim to maintain our gold rating while continuously improving the total points awarded to Nilfisk," says Malene Thiele, Global Vice President of Sustainability and ESG at Nilfisk.
"Sustainability is increasingly embedded across our company and value chain, involving not only our sustainability team, but also Compliance, Global Operations, HR, and many others across the company who support our continuous outreach and improvements," says Malene Thiele.
At the forefront
According to Malene Thiele, performing well in EcoVadis and other similar ESG frameworks will be an increasingly significant business advantage.
"We know that many of our customers rely on EcoVadis ratings to make their purchasing decisions and we commend them for sharing our commitment to sustainability. Therefore, the EcoVadis Gold Medal is an important communication tool and is certainly something we bring to our engagements with customers and other stakeholders," says Malene Thiele.
