International. International Cleanup Week is celebrated from 23 to 29 March 2025. This week-long event, hosted by ISSA, the global cleaning industry association, features innovative new resources to empower cleaning industry professionals globally.
For the fifth consecutive year, ISSA has organized this celebration at the end of March. This year, ISSA will expand opportunities for engagement by introducing new resources designed to showcase the critical role of the cleaning industry in protecting public health and driving economic impact.
"International Cleanup Week 2025 represents a transformative moment for our industry," said John Barrett, executive director of ISSA. "The new Flawless Spaces Competition, enhanced collaboration toolkit, and comprehensive programming provide significant opportunities for our industry to demonstrate its value and impact."
International Cleanup Week 2025 offers multiple new avenues for engagement, including:
* Flawless Spaces Contest: This exclusive benefit for ISSA members allows cleaning and facility teams to showcase their exceptional environments globally. Members can nominate their spaces by February 14 to highlight their crucial work in maintaining clean, safe and healthy facilities.
* Comprehensive Contributor Toolkit: This expanded resource includes branded graphics, pre-written social media content, and e-newsletter templates to help organizations maximize their participation in International Cleanup Week.
"We are especially grateful to our sponsors of International Cleanup Week – Tork, an Essity brand, and BradyPLUS – for their crucial collaboration in raising the profile of our industry," said John Nothdurft, ISSA's Director of Government Affairs. As the title sponsor of International Cleanup Week and the lead and secondary sponsors, respectively, of the 2025 ISSA Cleaning Promotion Summit, these organizations demonstrate an exceptional commitment to showcasing the value of professional cleaning globally.
As a culminating celebration of International Cleanup Week, ISSA will host the Cleanup Promotion Summit from March 31 to April 1 in Washington, D.C. This premier event, with air access to the Capitol, offers attendees promotional training and direct access to congressional delegations. The summit offers a unique opportunity for industry professionals to interact with policymakers and advance the interests of the cleaning industry and facility solutions.
