Latin America. During the congress of CleanTec Show Americas held in recent days (November 22 and 23) the Most Innovative Product was announced, a proposal that arose from the Academic Committee in order to recognize those companies that through the creation or improvement of products generate added value in terms of environmental sustainability, economic and in the field of competitiveness.

It was then that Klaxen, the Colombian company postulated its line of Klaxinn Tabs, which are characterized by being effervescent tablets of detergent + disinfectant, which have a new concept in cleaning and disinfection. This product won against Divesey, who participated with the Moonbeam 3 product, which is designed for the rapid and on-demand removal of frequently touched surfaces in patient rooms, operating rooms and bathrooms, being able to be used on patient care equipment, accessories, keyboards, monitors and equipment with wheels. MoonBeam3 can also be used outside of hospital environments that require extra disinfection.

As for the particularities of the Most Innovative Product (Klaxinn Tabs) it has a wide spectrum of action and stability, since it maintains the concentration of chlorine for longer, using a more stable and efficient molecule, different from the sodium and calcium hypochlorite used today They are biodegradable, pH neutral, do not deteriorate surfaces and do not stain clothes. It is free of caustic soda, low in phenols: 0.07mg/L, complies with resolution 631 of 2015.

It is worth noting that for the election of finalists of the most innovative product, the following criteria were taken into account: Date of launch of the product, sales (value and / or quantity of units sold of the product), innovative product that bet on environmental sustainability, number of quality certificates that the product has and if the product is created or improved. With the final choice of the winner, an open vote was held between the two finalists.  

The award for the most innovative product was received by Andrea Ochoa Cobos, commercial manager of Klaxxen who presented during the panel held at the congress the effectiveness of this product and the impact on sustainability.
