Panama. The National Government began this Thursday, December 1, the operation "Cleaned the Neighborhood" which aims to guarantee the collection of garbage and cleaning of the most critical points of the capital city during the month of December.

The inter-institutional operation "Cleaned the Neighborhood" in which the Urban and Home Cleaning Authority (AAUD), the Government of the Province of Panama and the Community Boards will intervene, consists of the collection of waste, cleaning of ditches and sidewalks of the corregimientos of the capital district throughout the month of December starting this Thursday 1 ° in Calidonia and San Miguel.

For this activity the AAUD has the support of properly equipped personnel, backhoes, dump trucks and collectors. "Cleaning the Neighborhood" will continue to tour different areas of the city as part of the measures adopted to solve the problem of accumulated garbage.

In another measure, the National Government of Panama announced the creation of a National Cleaning Operations Center to avoid a health crisis.
