According to the most recent report delivered by the Chamber of Cosmetics and Grooming of the National Association of Industrialists of Colombia, ANDI, in 2022, in personal care, households spent $ 17.77 billion, while cleaning products turnover was $ 12.34 billion.
Yeili Rangel, director of the Chamber of Cosmetics and Grooming of ANDI, indicated that, despite the good results, there was a significant difference in the frequency of purchase according to the purchasing power of Colombian households.
The report also predicts that in 2023 spending on this type of products will increase by 12.1%. The increase in spending on toiletries is a trend that began with the pandemic in 2022 and still persists in Colombian households.
