International. RobotPlusPlus, an engineering company that develops robots for working at height, has launched its cargo hold cleaning robot, HighMate C20.
This cleaning robot aims to offer reliability and efficiency in cargo hold cleaning operations, allowing safe deployment in most sea conditions, reaching up to 95% of the surface area of the holds and with a more consistent and powerful system, all while protecting sailors from the dangers of manual cleaning at height.
At SMM 2024, RobotPlusPlus is showcasing the HighMate C20 to tens of thousands of visitors at the maritime industry's premier global trade show. From booth B8-128, RobotPlusPlus is demonstrating how the multifunctional design concept of the HighMate C20 offers unique solutions for all types of vessels, as well as other solutions for the shipbuilding and repair industry.
The HighMate C20's five 500 bar high-pressure nozzles clean to a width of 1 meter with a 95% coverage rate. Its maximum working pressure is equal to 100 times the pressure of a traditional fire hose and can clean up to 500 square meters per hour.
The robot is remarkably easy to operate; most sailors can learn the basic functions of the HighMate C20 in 10 minutes or less. With the launch of the HighMate C20 at the SMM, RobotPlusPlus hopes to attract like-minded companies that will contribute to improving shipping worldwide.
