Argentina. Within the framework of the training provided by the Association of Cleaning Companies (ADEL), the course for associates "The role of the leader in organizational transformation" was held.
During the meeting, held at the headquarters of ADEL, the head of the Learning Area, Eduardo Laurenzi, presented the training by Teresa Sacco, public accountant, organizational coach, specialist in Communication, process development and leadership, with a Postgraduate Degree in Strategic Management and Training in Negotiation at Harvard.
Within this framework, we worked with the leaders of the companies that attended, on how to carry out transformation processes within the organization. In this way, the training began by differentiating the concept of "change" from that of "transformation", understanding that the latter concept implies a change with an objective. It was also explained that cognitive distortion is an erroneous way of processing information regarding an event and was exemplified with 15 possible distortions.
In this line, work was done on the assumption of possible leaders as the savior, the persecutor, or the victim. In this context, it was pointed out that to generate a transformation within an organization, the ideal is to start by finding out, asking questions, starting from statements that lead us to be neutral, and above all learn to place orders.
Likewise, during the training, the importance of sustaining transformational leadership was emphasized in order to solve the issues considering the goals, scenarios, options, and actions.
Finally, the participants and the companies were thanked for trusting in the need to have leaders who are continuously trained.
