International. The global cleaning industry association, ISSA, celebrated the appointment of Debbie Sardone, founder of the charity Cleaning for a Reason, to the prestigious Forbes 50 Over 50: Impact list, which distinguishes women who have made a significant social impact after the age of 50.

"Debbie's well-deserved recognition by Forbes is a shining example of how compassion and entrepreneurship can come together to transform lives," said John Barrett, Executive Director of ISSA. "His leadership continues to drive our industry forward and represents the best of what it means to make a meaningful impact through cleaning."

Sardone began his entrepreneurial journey with Buckets & Bows Maid Service, operating out of the trunk of his car, to become one of the largest privately owned cleaning companies in the United States. His greatest legacy began with a call from a woman who couldn't afford to clean her home because of the costs of cancer treatment. Since then, he has made the decision that no cancer patient would be turned away.

Thus was born Cleaning for a Reason, a non-profit organization that provides free cleaning to people undergoing cancer treatment. Since its inception, it has provided thousands of clean homes and moments of relief to patients across North America.

Known as The Maid Coach, Sardone has inspired an entire industry, uniting cleaning professionals and volunteers in a mission of service and purpose.
