An increase in investments in Mexico for the next three years of about US $ 275 million announced the multinational company Unilever, in order to increase its local production in the four plants it has in Mexico and boost its exports by US $ 1,000 million to destinations such as the United States, Canada and Central America.
It is estimated that this investment will help boost exports of products from Mexico, develop small and medium-sized enterprises and thus generate more than 3,000 direct and indirect jobs.
"We believe that this investment will contribute to the economic reactivation of the country. We also intend to expand the capacity of factories in hygiene and personal care products, which will bring product innovation," said Reginaldo Ecclissato, president of Unilever Mexico and Northern Latin America.
