Colombia. The company formerly known as Calo Jabones, focused on the manufacture of artisanal soaps for sale in small supermarkets, is now presented as Torna, a brand that promises to lead the circular economy in the cleaning industry in Colombia and the world.
"Did you know that millions of liters of water are at risk due to used cooking oil? This is the main pollutant of urban wastewater in the world. We are Torna, pioneers in the transformation of polluting waste into biodegradable cleaning products," the company introduces itself.
"Our vision is clear: save the water. We dare to change the rules of the cleaning industry by manufacturing biodegradable products with the largest wastewater pollutant in the world, Used Cooking Oil," says the company, which reaffirms that it has more than seven years of experience in the production of ecological products made from this waste.
Torna indicates that it is backed by quality certificates, becoming according to it the first company in Latin America to openly carry out the work of selling and manufacturing custom products to other companies.
The company announced its latest product, the Torna Multipurpose Liquid Soap, which it presented at CleanTech Show Bogotá 2023.
"This new member of our family of products is designed to be versatile, to be used in kitchens, floors, glass, rugs and more," says the organization, which highlights this as a concentrated, very performant product, effective at removing grease, removing strong dirt and leaving a good aroma when used.
"In addition, with its use, the contamination of thousands of liters of water is avoided, the emission of tons of C02 and the higher education of young Colombians is supported with our social program "Save Water to Study," he highlights.
