Hogarú y Homely se fusionan

Latin America. The companies Hogarú and Homely, companies dedicated to cleaning services, of Colombian and Mexican origin respectively, announced their merger last January, a decision that seeks to increase joint revenues by 42% this year.

At the beginning of January, Juan Sebastián Cadavid, CEO of Hogarú, commented on his positive impressions and thanks about this step in a LinkedIn post.

"Today I am excited to complete the merger process between Homely and Hogarú. I am happy to have found incredible entrepreneurs such as Melina Cruz Villafaña and Edgar Tello and to have the opportunity to offer economic independence to thousands of people in Mexico and Colombia with them and Pablo Felipe Jaramillo Cuellar, Sebastián Solano Blandón, Raul Amador Muñoz, Jose Luis Rosas and the entire Homely team, Aliada and Hogarú".

He also noted that this union marked a new stage for both brands, now sheltered under one roof "We will continue to work tirelessly to generate value for companies that need to quickly find a keeper to clean up their businesses and continue to grow their income. We will also help households and cleaning professionals looking to get to know each other and build a lasting relationship."

Fusión de Hogarú y Homely

Moreover, in an exclusive interview with Forbes magazine , the CEO of Hogarú commented that both companies have different models and want both to continue working. "In Hogarú it is 70% households and 30% business, in Homely it is the other way around 70% business and 30% homes. We're going to bring our household knowledge to Mexico and they'll bring their business knowledge to Colombia."

Finally, this new union, which strengthens both startups, since they are young companies, generates new dynamics and offers of cleaning services in Latin America, as it is supported by joint capabilities and experience in the market.
